Webinar on Mental Health Awareness

The abrupt and extremely harsh response to COVID-19 pandemic in India has aggravated social and economic deprivations and inequalities. These inevitably have a serious adverse impact on the mental health of the people in the immediate as well as in the long term, experienced disproportionately by the most vulnerable. This webinar seeks to discuss mental health in the context of these amplified vulnerabilities, in terms of program, policy, the realities of persons in institutional care, as well as advocacy strategies. Students have started living in isolation. Though, corporate needs exposure and public skills. Resource Person Ms Dhyani will address this situation and will help students to overcome this problem.

About The Spokes Person

Ms Veena Dhyani is an RCI registered clinical psychologist with years of experience in dealing with numerous childhood and adult-related psychological conditions.

She did her PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from NCERT.

She also holds a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology.

She has many firsts to her credit and won several laurels throughout her career

She is actively involved in imparting Counselling, Psychotherapy and is an expert in Psychological Assessments and Diagnostic assessments. She holds an experience of 18 years in the field of Counselling/Clinical Psychology. She provides Family and Relationship counselling, Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Personality Assessment, Assessment of IQ and Learning disorders, and various other types of therapies and assessment services.

She has conducted numerous workshops for parents, students and teachers on Parenting, Stress Management, Managing Emotions, Improving Study Skills, Anxiety Disorder, Depressive Disorders to name a few. Her articles are also published in newspapers like Hindustan Times and Amar Ujala.
