Tree Plantation Ceremony 2019

Today, On August 2nd, 2019. We Inmantecians successfully completed the event of Tree Plantation at our UG campus. Trees are the only source of producing the oxygen in environment, they help to reduce the level of CO 2 . As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover such problem planting trees has become one of the few important option.

The event began with the welcoming of Honorable guest Mrs. Asha Sharma, Mayor-Ghaziabad, Mr.Praveen Choudhary, Ex-Mayor, Ghaziabad. Mayor Mrs. Asha Sharma actively participated in this tree plantation ceremony and enthusiastically interacted with students about environment, environmental problems, pollution etc. She also adviced students and faculties to think differently for the Society to make positive changes and to make improvement.

Mr. Praveen Choudhary notified the students about importance of Trees, their maintenance for society. He shared his past experiences with students that how he got success during such previous ceremonies and how one can help trees and plants to survive.

After the inspirational words of guests and Director we all moved towards the place where tree plantation took place. The very first tree was planted by Mrs. Asha Sharma in college premises and then Vice Chair Person Mr. K.S. Gupta also planted tree. Total number of tree planted by Inmantec today including guest, faculties and students exceeded 200.

Students also shared their experience and agreed in unison to plant more trees on special occasions such as their birthdays. It was also decided to regularly visit the plantation site to take care of trees.
