SUMMER TRAINING PROJECT REPORTS & PRESENTATIONS
In the 4th semester, students have to submit Project Report based on the Summer Internship undergone in an organization after the completion of the 2nd semester. The Project may be in the form of Detailed Project Report and it will be evaluated on the following dimensions:

  • Knowledge and comprehension of the problem
  • Objective of the study
  • Ability to analyze the subject of study
  • Logical sequencing, organization, and data handling in the problem
  • Concluding remarks in term of the objective
  • Organization of the report and data handling
  • Students are required to give Power Point Presentation based on the Project Report submitted

DUAL SPECIALIZATION
All the students have to take 08 (Eight) elective papers in both the semesters of 2nd year.

Add-on 1 Year Diploma in Financial Markets & Wealth Management

Module 1: INTRODUCTION TO INDIAN FINANCIAL SYSTEM & FINANCIAL MARKETS: This is an introductory module that will prepare the students for more advanced concepts of share market, financial planning and wealth management.

Module 2: INTRODUCTION TO FINANCIAL MATHEMATICS USING FINANCIAL CALCULATOR: This module will cover the basic financial concepts like time value of money, annuity, cash flow etc and their calculation using financial calculator.

Module 3: RISK ANALYSIS & INSURANCE PLANNING: This module examines the principles of risk analysis & insurance planning to identify a client’s risk exposure and accordingly select appropriate risk management techniques. The module reviews basic insurance products, analyses various insurance need and determines the type and amount of insurance best suited to the client.

Module 4: RETIREMENT PLANNING & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: This module assesses the significance of retirement planning, teaches analysis techniques, review of retirement employee benefits and the process to be adopted while developing a retirement plan.

Module 5: INVESTMENT PLANNING: This module trains student in understanding the client`s investment needs and identify suitable solutions aimed at wealth creation. The module trains the students in risk & return analysis, understand valuation techniques, procedures of asset allocation and assessment of portfolio performance.

Module 6: MUTUAL FUNDS: This module helps students to learn about the various types of managed investments and enables them to select the ones that best match their clients` needs.

Module 7: EQUITY DERIVATIVES: This course is designed to impart training to students in trading in the derivatives segment of the stock market.

Module 8: CURRENCY DERIVATIVE: This module will provide the theoretical and applied knowledge pertaining to currency and commodities trading. It focuses on the modalities of trading in commodity markets, its operations and practices, clearing, settlement and delivery procedures, and its regulatory and legal framework. India. 

Module 9: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS: The aim of Technical Analysis is to confirm that the candidate possesses the professional knowledge, understanding & skills to pursue a career in technical analysis within the investment community.

Module 10: TAX PLANNING: This module aims to enhance the student’s knowledge in the realm of personal taxation & tax planning by providing a synopsis of key tax components.
